This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect information about you when you use our website [www.finansea.in] and our services, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the rules made thereunder.
By using our Website and Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described below in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Website and our services.
The website www.finansea.in and its sub-domains are hereinafter referred to as "Website", "Site" or "Platform".
Throughout the Website/Platform, "we," "us," or "our" refers to the owner of this platform, who acts as the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act.
The terms "you", "your", "user", or "Data Principal" refer to visitors or users who access, browse, visit or avail of the services provided by the Website[www.finansea.in].

1.  As with everything else, we are very transparent with you about privacy. We never collect, store or analyze any information unless we genuinely need to; Such as providing you with access to the Website and use of Products and Services through the Platform. Wherever required, we will provide you a clear notice before or at the time of collecting your personal data, describing what is collected and why, in line with the DPDP Act.

2.  When you use our Services or fill out questionnaires or forms, we only collect and store the following details that you voluntarily submit -
• Name
• Gender
• Email id
• Phone number
• Date of birth
• UPI Transaction ID / UPI Ref Number / UTR, submitted by you to verify a payment you have made via UPI
etc.

We do not currently use any analytics or cookies on the Platform. If we introduce such tools in future, this Policy will be updated and, where required, we will seek your consent beforehand. See clause 7 below.

3.  Your information shall be used to -
• Provide you access to the Website and use of Products and Services through the Platform
• Verify identity when signing in to your user account
• Verify payments made by you via UPI, using the UPI Transaction ID / UPI Ref Number / UTR you submit
• Contact you for queries posted on the Platform.

4.  We may use your personal information to -
• Improve our platform and services
• Maintain safety.

5.  We may use your phone number and email id to communicate with you (if required), send promotional messages, etc., where you have consented to this. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at the contact details in clause 15 below, and withdrawal shall be as easy as giving consent. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal, and may mean we are unable to continue providing certain Services to you.

6.  Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed, request correction or erasure of your personal data, raise a grievance regarding our processing of your data (see clause 14), and nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in clause 15.

7.  We do not share your personal information with anyone except to comply with applicable laws, to protect our legal rights, or with service providers who process data strictly on our behalf and only for the purposes stated in this Policy.

The Platform also displays referral/affiliate links to third-party stock brokers. If you open an account with any such broker through our link, you do so directly on their platform, subject to their own privacy policy; we do not receive or store any personal data you submit to them.

8.  We or any third-party service provider may use cookies and other technologies to keep track of traffic and activity on our website. We do not currently use any such tools, but may do so in future, in which case we will update this Policy and, where required, display a cookie consent option before setting non-essential cookies.

9.  We do not change our privacy policies and practices after receiving a "Do Not Track" request from your browser.

10.  If you visit any other websites or links through this Platform, those websites and links are not bound to follow our Privacy Policy and have their own Terms Of Service and Privacy Policy, so you must read their privacy policies and terms of service carefully before doing any activity or providing any information to those external websites and links.

11.  All your data/information is stored and processed on cloud servers and databases located in India. We take reasonable technical and organisational security safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse, as required under the DPDP Act.

12.  We do not store any card, bank, or payment gateway information. Payments are made by you directly through your own UPI application using a QR code shown on the Platform; you separately submit your UPI Transaction ID / UPI Ref Number / UTR to us solely so we can verify your payment. We are not responsible for any information you provide within your own UPI/banking app.

13.  We use the SSL protocol to secure and encrypt our website.

14.  The Platform and Services are intended only for individuals aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone below 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected a child's personal data without verifiable parental/guardian consent, we will take steps to delete it.
